GoS Agent Includes a Unique QoS Software Module

QoS Software to deliver visibility and control

Current QoS software implementations are limited and do not adequately address the issue of multiple real-time classes of traffic. The rapid growth of traffic levels, particularly real-time video and the rise of different applications that can be accessed in parallel demands an approach that enables link optimisation and delivers full visibility of traffic and control to service providers.

QoS software diagramGoS Technology provides an alternative to legacy QoS software approaches by controlling loss and delay simultaneously. It includes a unique QoS software module that delivers multiple real-time classes of service and delivers predictable, differentiated quality.

Legacy approaches to QoS typically also require over-provisioning of bandwidth. GoS technology allows the link to be occupied to 100% of capacity, determined by the class of traffic being serviced.

High priority traffic can occupy up to 90% of available capacity, with the remainder available for “best effort” traffic. If high priority traffic demands reduce, best effort traffic can reuse the capacity on a dynamic basis.

QoS Software - a new approach

GoS Networks offers the only QoS software solution that enables Service Providers to confidently and profitably deliver multiple real-time applications, such as media, collaboration tools and unified communications services to individual customers, securing new revenue opportunities and ARPU growth. It offers the ability to measure, monitor and enforce maximum QoS across a distributed customer base.

GoS Networks offer a new approach to solving QoS and QoE issues. We allow service providers to establish policies in real time, creating new commercial opportunities and securing SLAs.

GoS technology is patent protected and has been independently verified. It is based on unique technology founded on partnerships with academia and researchers at CERN.
