QoS Truth and GoS Differentiation

In today’s world we’ve come to expect reliability. Start a car, fire up a laptop, or use a telephone – and we expect them to work.

Frequently the same thinking cannot be applied to today’s converged IP communications where more and more traffic is being transmitted across increasingly congested networks, often with limited bandwidth resources. Critical network-dependent applications such as voice, gaming, IPTV, video downloads and conferencing, together with traditional data traffic, all add to increased risk of network overload resulting in dropped calls and jittery images, leading to increased end-user frustration in communications systems that are expected to work.

To conclusively resolve this situation, a mechanism is required that can guarantee secure and predictable end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) under all load conditions across the full range of network and communications devices. Put another way, a QoS mechanism to optimise and guarantee the Quality of Experience for the business, home-working or residential end-user alike.

This is where GoS Networks’ high performance QoS technology has clear advantages. A licensable and embeddable software module called GoS (Guarantee of Service) which, by using a now well-proven, flexible and yet simple traffic prioritisation technique, minimises throughput, loss and delay, to enable simultaneous real-time applications without the need for increased fixed line or wireless bandwidth nor compromise of network’s performance.

And GoS Networks’ QoS technology consistently works.

A unique and now patented technology which went back to first principles and the fundamental analysis of the potential problems of QoS at the outset. From which a completely new solution was developed, based on advanced mathematical algorithms, to create a QoS scheduling mechanism to deliver reliable, consistent and predictable real-time services over today’s converged next generation networks.

Easy to configure, and repeatedly tested and evaluated in numerous scenarios and commercial environments, this technology consistently out-performs all other QoS technologies, for example DiffServ, TCP and WFQ, to guarantee traffic and service delivery. For both hardware manufacturers and service providers, this represents the potential for significant competitive advantage with the roll-out of new feature-enhanced products and delivery of new customer services.

Peter Thompson, Chief Scientist of GoS Networks shares his valuable insights and in-depth knowledge of QoS and the company’s GoS in three short video presentations

Following my own monitoring, millions of people all over the world get the home loans at various creditors. Therefore, there's great possibilities to get a collateral loan in any country.
